Hi Jean,
The Hallelujah Diet has helped a lot of folks recover their health. There is little medical science offers today other than drugs to mask or alter the symptoms or surgery to remove parts. None of these heal the body or address the root cause of the problems. Our bodies were made to heal themselves. So the focus of medical science should not be to mask symptoms and remove parts but rather to do everything possible to stimulate the bodies ability to heal and repair. The drugs and surgery have their place at times but they should not be the central focus - the always ready answer to all man's problems.

Jesus is a miracle worker and we have seen numerous miracles. I've personally prayed for folks before and saw them recover. However it is sad that so few have any concept of the importance of the food we put in our bodies. What good is a miracle if the activity that is causing the health problems is not changed.

The key to stimulating our bodies to heal and restore is live food. Real food that has not been cooked or altered via processing. The best form of live food (that we have found) to stimulate our bodies to heal and restore is raw veggie juices. Fresh carrot juice and high quality barley juice with live enzymes. These juices offer nutrition to our bodies that is quickly and efficiently absorbed regardless of the condition of our digestive system. (Of course the colon needs to be in good shape for adequate absorption and there are natural ways to improve colon health.)

So when praying I always suggest that folks not only believe God for a miracle but also believe God to show them what they can do to improve their health. God is good! Loren

Laurie Here are a couple hepatitis C reports.

"Twenty-five years ago my husband received fourteen pints of bad blood. He has had numerous problems through the years, but his problems culminated three years ago when he was diagnosed with hepatitis C, along with cirrhosis of the liver. His body had swelled to the point that he looked like he was about eight months pregnant, and was dying. I am happy to report that the Hallelujah Diet saved his life, and because of his diet change was able to return to the mission field in Costa Rica a year ago. The doctors are shocked. Most of his family is still shocked, that he is still alive and well. He is now 63 years old and back serving the Lord as a full-time missionary. The Hallelujah Diet is a miracle from God because it is the truth from God's Word. God bless your ministry always!" 1/26/2001

"I started the Hallelujah Diet on January 4, 2002, because I was told I had hepatitis C. I immediately jumped into the Hallelujah Diet with both feet. Following are my blood tests from when the first sample was taken on August 28, 2001 (before going on the Hallelujah Diet): SGPT (ALT) 80 U/L (with 45 being the highest acceptable limit.) After two months on the Hallelujah Diet my latest blood test is as follows: SGPT (ALT) 48! In addition, my cholesterol has gone from 204 before the diet change to 158. And did I say that I have also lost 15 pounds since making the diet change?" Jay C. 4/19/2002

A friend of mine is suffering from chronic congestive heart failure. Do you know of any testimonies where people with congestive heart failure have been helped and/healed by adopting the hallelujah diet?

Re: Chronic Congestive Heart Failure

I believe adopting the Hallelujah diet is the best thing a person can do to give their body a fighting chance.

Food should be consumed as fuel for optimum performance. . .when the wrong fuel is used, we get terrible results.

The Hallelujah lifestyle is very do-able. . .especially when someone has a concerned friend who will make the transition with them.

Here is one testimony
1/19/2001 " My father went straight on the Hallelujah Diet from Thursday night on
(about 2 weeks). He had been pronounced with congestive heart failure and no real hope! He had a doctors appointment on Tuesday and was moved off of two drugs and drastically reduced his diuretic. He has lots more energy and BP
is stable now. What a miracle in a few days. What a great miracle. Thanks for your work and dedication."

I have Lupus. I am so tired all the time with sore joints and muscles. Somtimes I find it hard to breath, I like there is not enough energy to draw the breath in. I am missing a lot of outside activites with my kids (who are almost grown now). I started this diet this week. Can you tell me about how long it takes to feel a difference?

Jackie, here is my opinion on this

- drink plenty of water every day. Half your body weight in ounces (i.e. if you weigh 150 lbs that would be about 75 ounces a day). After drinking about 20 ounces put a little sea salt on your tongue. This tells the body to hydrate providing the best benefit from the water. Some have reportedly overcome lupus using water alone so it is very important.

- If it were me the next thing I would do is to take the BarleyLife 3-4 times per day using at least a heaping teaspoon each time. If that didn't result in increased energy I would try using 1 tablespoon per time. Some have reported tremendous results just using this barley juice powder. I call it the most important food I put in my body each day. BarleyLife is quite high in antioxidants which, in addition to all the other benefits of BarleyLife, can be beneficial with lupus.

- plenty of fresh raw produce daily. More veggies than fruit.

- avoid sugar and processed foods containing refined sugar. Also avoid yeast.

- avoid coffee and soft drinks both of which can cause health problems, both of which leave the body in an acidic state when it should have a slightly alkaline pH.

How long does it take? This can vary from person to person. When changing diets to one containing fresh raw produce and veggie juices one might experience detox - the body cleansing. This can result in feeling tired or in flu or cold like symptoms. In this case one might wonder if they are doing the right thing. If detox is severe it is a good idea to decrease the amount of raw produce and juices a bit and add some cooked food back into the diet for a few days to slow the detox.) Some start feeling better within a few days, some a few weeks and some a couple months. It is important to realize that you are not using drugs and no one has promised you will recover. However there is a substantial amount of scientific and anecdotal evidence as to the health importance of fresh raw produce in ones diet. It is very important to be consistent as it is what you put in your body every day that makes the biggest impact on your health.
