One of my buddies introduced me to the H.Diet last year. I started it on May 3rd. Why? Because I was scared. I'm only 48 years old, but my knees hurt so bad, I had to psychologically steel myself just to bear the pain of walking down a flight of stairs. I spent many a night tossin' and turnin', trying to get my legs in a position to where my knees wouldn't ache. What really got to me, though, was watching my neighbor, who's only a few years older than I, limp around on crutches, because of the arthritic deterioration of his knee joints. (He doesn't want to try the H.Diet, but he does like his medication!). I lost 40 pounds in three months (199 - 159), but that was just icing. The real miracle was that after only 3 weeks on the diet, my knees stopped hurting. I don't mean like gradually-going-away-stopped. I mean like completely stopped. We were on vacation in the Black Hills, and one morning I woke up and my knees didn't hurt. I walked up and down hills all day and my knees didn't hurt that night! I got up the next morning, and my knees still didn't hurt! I'm back to doing squats and all my other leg work when I work out. My knees haven't felt this good in years (decades?).
