HI im 22 & recently married. I started charting my bbt last cycle and noticed my LP is only 9 days long... SO i went ahead and bought some progesterone cream and im wondering if anyone could tell me what day i should start using it? IM hoping it can fix my LP so we can start ttc again. Weve tried for a yr with no luck, i only had like 4 cycles in total in that 1 yr of trying. But now my cycles have regulated some so we want to start trying soon. and since im charting i wont know until 3 days after i ov. So should i start using the cream once fertilty friend gives me the crosshair? |

Typically, for a 24-28 day cycle, start on day 12 and stop two days before the epected end of the cycle. (day 1 is the first day of the period). Using a basal thermometer every morning (charting temps) one can often see, within 24 hours, that ovulation has occurred. Sporadic cycles often normalize with the use of progesterone. |

Try it! I've ttc for over 4 years with endometriosis. Had basic fertility treatments and IVF. Began using natural progesterone cream last month and guess what? I'm 6 weeks pregnant!!!! I had stopped taking it before I should have started but aunt flo never came. I have my first RE visit tomorrow for a sonogram and bloodwork. Pray for me! |
